These 6 yoga asanas can give relief from Asthma

Asthma patients find relief naturally from exercise, but it is challenging to do more strenuous physical exertion. And yoga is a slow and easy process. This process also includes deep breathing. Asthma can be caused by both genetic and environmental factors. Whatever be the reason, yoga not only prevents asthma patients but also helps in getting control over it.  let’s know yoga for asthma.

1. Sukhasana 

Sukhasana is an easy asana to be done while sitting. This is one of the seated postures in meditation and yoga. In many Asian countries, Sukhasana is the common way to sit and sit while eating. If the practice of Sukhasana is done in the morning then it is very beneficial. It is not necessary for the stomach to be empty during its practice. The best time to do Upavistha Konasana is on an empty stomach in the morning or in the evening 5-6 hours after eating. 3.Ardha Matsyendrasana | Sitting Half Spinal Twist

In Ardha Matsyendrasana, the spine is bent while sitting on the ground. The best time to do Ardha Matsyendrasana is in the morning on an empty stomach. While doing this asana, keep in mind that the defecation is good and the stomach is very clean. Ardha Matsyendrasana is considered to be the initial pose of Hatha Yogis. This asana can be practiced for 30 to 60 seconds.

 

Ardha Matsyendrasana For Treating Asthma:

Ardha Matsyendrasana opens and widens your chest. The practice of this increases the ability of the body to take oxygen. Due to this quality, the risk of asthma attacks is greatly reduced.

4.Bhujangasana | Cobra Pose 

This asana gives a tremendous twist to the spine and creates a posture like the raised hood of a snake. Bhujangasana should be practiced in the morning on an empty stomach. This asana should be practiced for a maximum of 15 to 30 seconds.

 

Bhujangasana For Treating Asthma:

It helps in improving blood circulation in the body and opens the chest and clears the passage of the lungs. This asana increases our flexibility and improves our mood. It also creates tension in the chest muscles.

5.Purvottanasana 

Purvottanasana is also called Upward Plank Pose in the English language. Purvottanasana in Hindi literally means rising towards the east. Purvottanasana represents the sun rising in the east, besides it also symbolizes the new and golden dawn. Purvottanasana should be practiced early in the morning on an empty stomach. This is a simple level of difficulty vinyasa yoga asana. It should be practiced for 30 to 60 seconds.

6.Shavasana

Shavasana is called Corpse Pose in the English language. Shavasan got its name because of its posture. In Shavasana, the body of the yogi remains unmoved like a dead body or dead body. Shavasana can be practiced at any time of the day. Apart from this, it is not necessary that the stomach should be empty for the practice of Shavasana. Shavasana is the initial level Ashtanga Yogasana. One can stay in this mudra after yoga till there is rest or till complete rest is not achieved.
