Shorter ladies or petites should avoid double breasted ladies jackets as they tend to make you look smaller.

To choose just the right colour of jacket, first you should think about which colours look good you and also which colours will go with your outfits. For a casual everyday womens jackets, it is usually best to pick a neutral colour that works with lots of different outfits. But if you want something a bit different to wear with a particular outfit then cheap jackets that make a statement are also a good choice.
