The Super Bowl comes only once a year in February. It’s one of the most wagered games and allows bettors to make substantial bucks. One of the best ways to bet on the team trophy or the MVP who will have an epic performance is by playing the Super Bowl square templates.

While there are MVPs who have stood up among the rest and won more than one Super Bowl, others didn’t get the trophy, yet they had the potential of doing so.

Receiver Max McGee (Super Bowl I)
Though we can’t argue that Starr deserved the MVP award, he got all the glory while the receiver McGee was the main driving force for the Packers and made history in the Super Bowl by scoring the first touchdown.
Running back Matt Snell. (Super Bowl III)
While Joe Namath was the original MVP, he was deserving enough. However, other Jets players played a more prominent role like Matt Snell, the running back. He had 30 times rushing for 121 yards as he feasted against the Colts defense. Though Joe was also quite efficient, he didn’t throw a touchdown. We can arguably say that Snell was scammed in Super Bowl III.
Rick Sanders (Super Bowl XXII)
Among the would-be Super Bowl MVPs or the daily sports picks, Sanders got the most hoised. He is why Doug Williams got the award, and though he gave an incredible performance, we believe his production came from only one quarter. He benefited a lot from Sanders’ fantastic play.
Ricky Sanders was outstanding against Washington, having an 80-yard touchdown and shaming the Broncos (10-0). And he didn’t stop there but kept piling it on and even gave Williams a reliable target, including 9-catches and 191 receiving yards. Sanders holds the second-most receiving yards in Super Bowl history by a wide receiver.
Brett Favre (Super Bowl XXXI)
As this was Brett Favre’s lone Super Bowl win, it was pretty sad that he got hosed. The MVP went to Desmond Howard, who gave 244 total yards, and returned a kick for a touchdown.
But the Packers got in a good position because of Favre’s excellent game. He had started the fireworks early when he fired in a 54-yard strike and then added an 81-yard touchdown later. Then, running in a short score, he earned three scores in one of his biggest games ever.
In Conclusion
While it’s not unusual to debate who should have gotten the MVPs in Super Bowls, most of them didn’t get it. But these were in the daily sports picks, which means they had potential but somehow got hoised.
